Pre-Arrangements

Pre-Need Planning

Pre-Need Planning is making burial arrangements in advance for yourself and your family. Making arrangements in advance with one of our Family Service Counselors allows families to make decisions without the emotional stress of the passing of their loved ones, it allows families to save upwards of thousands of dollars, and brings peace of mind that everything has been thoughtfully taken care of.

The passing of a loved one all too often leaves families struggling to find ways to pay off burial expenses. By making arrangements in advance, families are able to pay over a period of time, as opposed to all at once, and it locks in your burial costs at today’s rates. This gift allows families to grieve and takes away the worry of how to pay for their loved one’s passing.

In a nutshell, Pre-Need Planning is peace of mind. It allows for people to know that all the decisions have been made as they would like it, their families will never have to worry about how to pay for the inevitable burial expenses, and you have lessened the impact of bereavement on your surviving family and friends.

What Pre-Need Arrangements Can I Make At Lincoln Memorial Park?

  • Burial Location: This can often be the most difficult and important decision for families to make. Selecting this ahead of time gives you the opportunity to view our beautiful grounds and inquire about our many burial options: in-ground, garden mausoleum, lawn crypt or columbarium niche.
  • Marker/Monument: Depending on the requirements of the grave’s section, there are different materials/sizing options available for markers. Our Customer Service Providers would be more than happy to go over personalized memorial options for your section.
  • Vault: The in-ground outer concrete container in which a casket or urn is placed – there are several different vault options, each offering different levels of protection and customization.
  • Opening/Closing: The costs for the grave preparation, committal service, gravesite setup, assistance of burial attendants and the careful and detailed documentation in the cemetery’s permanent archive.
